About the Blog Name

As many of you know, I have been debating for quite a while whether or not to get back into blogging. There are SO MANY good, no GREAT blogs out there now. Do I have anything else to offer?

The answer I came up with is YES. Not that I am a better blogger, writer, thinker, or anything like that. But I humbly believe that some of the situations I find myself are fairly unique, possibly giving me a perspective on issues that might be interesting to others.

So yes, it is 2nd rate. But with the bar set so high, is that so bad? I hope you will think not.

Supporting the People and Constitution of Honduras

I am so proud of the people of Honduras for standing up to their would-be Dictator, and defending their constitution and the rule of law.

It must be a scary time, but they are standing up for what is right.

I do hope Mel postpones his planned return to Honduras on Thursday.

I heard from a Doctor friend of mine in Honduras how standard procedure in Emergency Rooms was to withhold treatment until a vote of support for Zelaya had been procured. Unbelievable!

I hope Zelaya decides that Costa Rica is a great place to retire.
