I am so encouraged by President Obama's softening of his stance on Honduras. As a big supporter, I was flabbergasted when he immediately backed Zelaya and seemed to side with the rest of the world in opposition to the "coup", which was not a coup at all, but a legal removal of a rogue president.
This link is to the Wall Street Journal today. More encouraging is reading the comments and seeing that people are being called to task for their knee-jerk reactions and comments, based upon false or misleading data.

I'm with you - so glad to see this change of heart (or mind)! I continue to pray for a peaceful resolution so that life for all Hondurans may return to normal and that the new president elected in November will lead the government to improve the lives of the poor. And I admit that I pray that things will be resolved so that we can return to Siguatepeque next summer. - Lynn
